ReplyDeleteGreat "how-to" guide. A suggestion (or two). Just pass a magnet over any suspect ballast sources, to capture small particles from later getting into the motor. And any iron pyrites lurking in your ballast will react with the PVA glue mixture which can lead to an interesting chemical blackening ( darkening) of nickel silver track.
ReplyDeleteBugger - forgot that one, AGAIN. Yes, running a magnet over it all, whilst dry, is a very good idea :-)
